This is an excellent product for the price. Because of the size of the unit, the speakers fall a little short, but it plays and stills sounds good.
I got this for less than $30 at [.]. I just got this in the mail tonight. and it included cradles for three different units, a power cord, and antenna. I love it. I'll be moving into a smaller office next week and this is definitely going to be more than enough sound than I really should have. Now I can leave my home power cord and antenna in place and have to bother with unplugging them everytime I want to take my XM2go unit with me. It's really a great deal.
I purchased this product for my Delphi Myfi XM2GO to replace the non-operational home charging kit that originally came with the Myfi. I also like the fact that there is a headphone jack, since I like to listen to XM at night when my wife is sleeping. The Altec Lansing XM3020 is a great alternative to simply replacing the home charging kit, since it was roughly the same price and also provides the added bonus of decent speakers for a small area. The speakers are certainly not over-powering, but provide nice sound for a bedroom or home office. The unit is also fairly compact, is easy to set-up, and is not visually unappealing.The only feature I think it is missing is a power on/off switch. I think it sounds best in an office, where the level is very low to low. I have used the adapters for 2 different XM2GO recievers. I bought this product several years ago, and have used it at home and the office. It has a very pleasing balance of lows to highs, thanks to the bass port in the back of the unit. The sound is EXCELLENT, and I am fussy. It does not sound, of course, like a 1000watt top of the line home stereo, but that's to be expected since it is only about a foot wide, 4 inches tall and about 6 inches deep. If you place the unit in a corner on your desk, the bass port does its best work. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to ANYONE, especially for the low price you can get it here on Amazon.
the sound is terrible and my unit was a faded gray. I orginally thought it would be great on the deck or just to use when I was outside. This was one of the worst purchases I have ever made. Probably ok for a very small room, like a bathroom or closet. I am very disappointed in this product.
